Notes
Yarn
The sample shown uses a DK weight, non-superwash pure wool. It is recommended that you choose a woollen-spun yarn which has a halo, allow the fibres to grip or stick to one another. Smooth, shiny yarns (i.e. worsted spun, superwash treated, or those with slippery fibres – alpaca, silk, cotton, etc.) are not recommended for use with this pattern due to its use of crocheted steel.
Customisation
The pattern can be modified in a few different ways so that your finished tea cosy fits your pot. Suggestions for customising the pattern are included next to the written instructions in the help / Custom boxes.
Remember to adjust your overall st counts if modifying the pattern. Extra yarn will be need if the size is increased beyond the XL given in the pattern. it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
